Yet more and more people are in need of loans like these to make ends meet. As the bank which explains financial matters in a clear and understandable manner, bpost bank distanced itself from feel-good advertising and opted for a more realistic approach. The home furnishing market was no longer growing. With more and more (online) players entering the market, IKEA knew something had to be done. Being the market leader, IKEA wanted to reconnect with its customers on a more emotional level. With ‘Make Room for Life’, IKEA therefore elevated the conversation from the room itself to how people live in that room. The campaign was a success.
