Peter Ampe joins the Global Creative Council of the DDB network

Peter Ampe gets a prestigious seat on the Global Creative Council of the DDB network. He received an invitation from Amir Kassaei, DDB's Chief Creative Officer. The new Council has 13 members and will meet several times a year to evaluate the DDB work and determine the creative course for the coming years. Ampe takes place alongside big names like Ben Priest from DDBAdam&Eve and Joji Jacob fromof DDB Singapore.

Peter Ampe is very honored with his place in the Council. He was chosen for his vision and his record in both creative awards andas Effies cases. Reminder: Ampe won 25 Cannes Lions and 11 Effie casesawards. That combination of relevance and creativity is exactly what the network wants to put more emphasis on, in the fine tradition of founder Bill Bernbach. "It is indeed true that 'Bill' is still the middle name of everyone at DDB," says Peter Ampe this. "It's amazing how many of his quotes today seem even more relevant than 50 years ago" Amir Kassaei explains the ambitions of DDB:. "We want to be the most influential network, not the most award-winning and I have therefore a driven group with integrity and talented creative leaders." Earlier, Amir showed that the network wants to register more selective award shows, so the focus shifts to brands and their challenges

About DDB Brussels

To solve our client’s business issues, we favor our people’s skills instead of the latest buzzwords. Bringing together our people’s talent in strategy, technology, creation and production under one roof results in "work that works”.

Our long-standing experience with people-focused brands (VW, IKEA, Studio Brussel, bpost bank, DKV, letgo, De Persgroep…) inspires an internal culture based on creativity & humanity. This helps us come up with creative business solutions that interact with how people behave today. Our solutions go beyond what is traditionally labeled as advertising and can propel a brand for years.

With a headcount of around 60 people, we are large enough to take up the most serious challenges, while remaining agile enough to respond in real-time to new opportunities.
